Rebel Sun is a Gaffer owned and operated lighting business servicing the Northern California film, video and photography industries.

We are a one-stop shop.  From trucks to generators, HMIs to KinFlos, dollies to dedos – and if we don’t have it, we can get it.  Although our primary transport is a fully loaded  2-ton grip and lighting truck, if you need bigger – no problem!

Rebel Sun also strives to be kind to the environment. Often time film and video productions can create a big footprint. Rebel Sun takes every step possible to reduce the impact production has on the environment.  From reusing cut gels to turning lights off when not in use to bringing our own re-usable coffee mugs we do what we can to help.
